About

This blog contains many topics, but in the words of Flannery O’Connor, everything that rises must converge. And everything that exists must be taken captive to Christ. No matter what the topic, the underlying assumption and goal will be the proclamation of the kingship of Christ, who has all authority in heaven and on earth.

In general, I will stick to topics surrounding Scripture, highlights of related books I’m reading, and modern culture clashes arising from the culture war. This includes some politics, which are like the stink of a skunk that hangs around. Unavoidable in life and so unavoidable in this blog. But I’ll try to keep it to a minimum.  Because, you know, it stinks.

My prayer is that you’ll find some encouragement in my wanderings and journal scribbles.  And maybe a laugh or two.  Or ten. Preferably not at my expense, but I’ll take what I can get.

Here’s the boring stuff in third person limited (or treat it as omniscient, if that floats your boat):

Matt Robison is a 29 year old web architect by day, helping develop and market websites.  That’s how he pays his bills.  For now.  Most of the time, he enjoys moving pixels around on the screen and getting bytes of bits to process information and spit out coherent stuff in the English language.  He helps run Louisville Web Group doing Drupal development, and focusing on successful e-commerce.

What he enjoys most, however, is reading and talking about what he reads. That sounds obnoxious, but its not as bad as all that. Its what most preachers and pastors do pretty much all the time anyway. He tries to split his time between Scripture, books about Scripture, classical history, and Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

He lives in Louisville, KY with his wife and two children.
